A medical assistant working in a medical spa typically performs a range of administrative and clinical duties to support the smooth operation of the spa.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting physicians or licensed practitioners with cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections, laser treatments, and chemical peels.
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Greeting patients, obtaining medical histories, and explaining procedures.
• Taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately.
• Providing post-procedure care instructions and answering patient questions.
• Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling billing.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Collaborating with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care.
• Participating in ongoing training and continuing education to stay updated on medical spa procedures and regulations.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $18.48 - $22.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
